The item came fast and everything was on the box as advertised. The image on the monitor is great. It is very vivid. The monitor is bigger than I thought. 7" is fairly big so keep that in mind. The 5D feature allows for full screen recording. The canon cameras output at 420p but this feature makes sure you can use the full screen.I'm not a big fan of the sunshade. I thought I was going to break it. It's alright once you get the hang of it. The feature I wish It had is focus peaking. I've only had it for a few days but I'm already very pleased. This "High Definition" monitor is very user friendly, this one came with a "tiny" shoe mount thats fine so far, I still have to see if it can hold it's weight on an all day shoot. It also comes with a sun shade (which is great!), an HDMI type A-C, a 6' DC adaptor thats great but defeats the whole purpose. The product doesn't come with a battery, and the battery is hard to find locally, so I'll save you some headache which would have helped me when researching the product(That's why 4 stars instead of 5). It comes with two battery adapters that fit model "QM91D" and "F-970". So its wise to purchase a high capacity battery with one of those model numbers at the same time. But overall this is well worth the money and I highly recommend this product!! WYSIWYG with this beautiful piece of equipment. It's insanely bright and you know you have some staying power with LED lights. The first part of shooting is LIGHTS, camera and then action for a reason :)The weight it adds is a nice touch because I think the dslr's are too light by default I don't care if it's a mark 2 or a rebel, with this puppy it just feels right. Be sure to get a double shot mount so you can have this and lights or a mic going. |
